ACKNOWLEGEMENTS
The creation of this website was a collaboration between two students of Madison Area Technical College's Veterinary Technician Program. Fernanda Leyva Jaimes was the first Veterinary Technician student to enroll into the Honors Program when it was first started in the fall of 2014. She completed an Honors Project that semester with her faculty mentor Dr. Clarissa Sheldon.
During the spring semester of 2015 Dr. Sheldon encouraged a collaboration between Fernanda and Abigail Middleton. Having already talked about focusing on educational opportunities for graduates of the vet tech program, Abi and Fernanda focused their research on this topic for their spring 2015 project.
The goal for the semester was to research how a Veterinary Technician student could further their career upon completion of their Associate of Applied Science: Veterinary Technology. With the help of their amazing faculty mentor, Dr. Sheldon, they worked all semester while maitining a full course load to complete this website.
We would like to thank the following people for their time and support of this project. We couldn't have done it without you!
