2+2 Articulation Agreements

 

Currently MATC's Veterinary Technician Program has two articulation agreements with two UW system schools. One agreement is with UW-River Falls and the newest one is with UW-Platteville.

 

 

 

  • An agreement with either UW system school in which you take courses at both schools and graduate with both a Bachelor's   of Science degree in Animal Science and a Veterinary Technician Associate of Applied Science 

 

 

 

  • Able to apply to vet school. More opportunities. Bachelor's opens more doors to university jobs.  AAS gets you a job thanks to the skills you learn 

 

 

 

  • UW-River Falls/UW- Platteville and Madison Area Technical College

 

 

 

  • 2 years at a UW system school and 2 years at MATC. Can start at either UW or MATC.

  • Take ACTS

  • Meet requirements for applying to UW-River Falls/UW-Platteville

  • Meet requirement for applying to Vet Tech Program

  • Meet deadlines for college applications

  • Complete 2 years at UW/MATC

  • Meet requirements for graduation
